WHO WE ARE
We are a family that has a passion for bringing about change and demonstrating God's love to our community. The founder and CEO, Marissa Johnson is a 21 year old dysautonomia warrior. She knows personally how much of a struggle it can be to try and live your life while being chronically ill. She wanted to make a change and find a way to help support other people who are struggling and lost just like she was. Her family has helped her every step of the way whether it was advocating for her or just needed someone to lean on. When she had a dream and said she wanted to start an organization to help Dysautonomia patients her family has supported her every step of the way helping her make the connections needed and even helping create and design some of the products.
WHAT WE DO
It's so much more than just a package...
it's a family.
What started off as an idea to send a few packages out to chronically ill patients quickly grew into something much more. Not only do we send out packages free of cost but we provide an opportunity to become part of a family where we can learn and grow together. We provide resources that might be helpful to other POTS patients. We are also providing a place for people to connect with other people who are going through similar struggles to share stories of successes and tips for overcoming challenges.
​There are many different resources available on the website including a blog, podcast, forums, and newsletters. There are places for you to connect with other POTSies, learn more about the diagnosis, get free resources, and read and listen to how some patients are handling their journey with POTS as they share their successes and even some struggles. We want to make everyone feel like they can take something from this organization whether or not you have Dysautonomia or a loved one or you simply just want to learn more about the illness.
